Ana Caballero & CS Lim. Items I Scour the Intern

"Items I Scour the Internet to Find". Video FHD - NFT

I SCOUR THE INTERNET TO FIND is a media-rich spoken word poem by Ana María Caballero, with original artwork by CS Lim. This poem explores our complex relationship with the virtual and digital realms, where we seek, and often find, connections more easily than in the realm of flesh and blood. Lim''s work, which uses artificial intelligence to explore natural and traditional spaces, highlights the increasing complexity of determining what is real. Are our Internet friends real? Are AI-generated landscapes a true reflection of reality? What new traditions are we creating in our digital lives? These are some of the questions that this work of art investigates. Original score commissioned especially for this work.

CS Lim is a multidisciplinary artist and AI researcher and developer based in South Korea who uses artificial intelligence to explore our relationship with the natural world and reinterpret traditional forms of artistic expression. His mold-breaking work has been exhibited internationally, among others at Crypto Art Week Asia, NFT Art Week Shenzhen and NFT Art Week Hangzou, with great success. The soft yet deliberate way in which he renders his dreamscapes makes his work instantly recognizable. By fusing AI, nature, and tradition, Lim creates a world where our digital selves live in harmony with our history and environment.

The work of Ana María Caballero has won the Beverly International Prize, the José Miguel Arango National Poetry Prize of Colombia, has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and has been a finalist for the Academy of American Poets Award. Her digital poems were featured by MOCDA, exhibited in the Dreamverse, and received a grant from the Sevens x Playboy Foundation. Much of her work questions romantic motherhood and notions that present female sacrifice as a virtue. His characteristic and direct verse gives voice to what is not said at home. 1080 x 1080 pixels
