Important Japanese folding screen. Frame in ebonized wood and paper panels painted in gouache and gold. A landscape scene with mountains and a river is shown. Different species of birds where two silver pheasants preside over the scene. Branches of blossoming almond trees and peonies. Signature and stamp in the lower left corner. On the back geometric decoration on a green background. Japan, Edo Period, S. XVIII - XIX.



*Slight deterioration in the joints between panels.
