A Spanish silver coffee set by M. Espuñes, 20th C

Large Empire-style coffee and tea set made of punched Spanish silver, 925 law. From Matilde Espuñes. It consists of Samovar with tap, coffee maker, tea pot, jug and sugar bowl. All this on an oval tray with handles in turned wood. The pieces with elegant decoration of palmettes and opposite in the profiles. Dragon head shaped spouts and pineapple shaped knobs. The samovar, on four clawed legs that end in winged lion heads. The handles in bakelite. The side trim of one of the handles of the tray is missing. Spain, Pp. S. XX. Weight: 7,500 gr. 43 cm high the samovar. 70 x 48 cm tray.
