Empire tabletop clock. Ormolu. XIX

Very important Empire mantel clock. France. circa 1810-15. Ormoulu bronze. Precious box formed by four columns through which floral stems climb and hold the pediment at the top, with entablature, frieze and cornice. Between them is the dial, with a guilloché center, seconds window and beautiful chiselled bezel with floral motifs. In the socket three spheres that indicate: days of the week, days of the month, moon phases and lunar calendar, and the third the months of the year. Paris machine, round, 8-day winding, with hour and a half striking on the bell. Pendulum with compensation rods and blade suspension. It has a pendulum and two keys. 59 cm. height. 59 cm. height
