The work represents the Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre, where her body is made up of a clockwork machine. Edition of 7 copies.



The Merger is a collective of Cuban artists created in 2009 and made up of Alain Pino Hernández, Mario Miguel González Fernández and Niels Molerio Luis. This collective presented their work for the first time at the X Havana Biennial in 2009

Their most representative works are those made of metals such as aluminum or steel and they usually use iconic artistic images for their sculptures. The Merge They intervene and manipulate objects to the point of subverting their original function, mixing it with other elements with the aim of improving its anecdotal and symbolic capacity.
