Work commissioned by the Marqués de Riscal to the painter. Inherited by his second son, the Baron de Chirel and donated by him to the Marquis de Montalvo y Zugasti.



The Gasparini Room was built during the reign of Carlos III and is considered one of the most beautiful rooms in the Palace. Its decoration carried out by Matías Gasparini presents originalities of the chinoiserie type in Rococo style.

The work may respond to a commission-study of the eighteenth-century setting and decoration of the Marqués de Riscal for the decoration of his well-known palaces, among others the one in Madrid. 72x88
