Presenta pequeño orificio en la panza en el reverso, por lo demás buen estado de conservación
El ánfora aparece por primera vez en las costas del Líbano y Siria, durante el siglo XV a.C. y se extiende por todo el mundo antiguo. Fueron empleadas primero por los egeos, en la ciudad cretense de Knossos, y más tarde por los antiguos griegos y romanos como principal medio de almacenamiento para el vino.

It has a small hole in the belly on the reverse, otherwise in good condition.
The amphora appears for the first time on the coasts of Lebanon and Syria, during the 15th century BC and is spread throughout the ancient world. They were first used by the Aegeans, in the Cretan city of Knossos and, later on by the ancient Greeks and Romans as the main storage medium for wine. 22 cm
