He wears a military uniform with a navy blue jacket with an embroidered high collar and stripes with golden epaulettes. Wears the Band of the Grand Cross of the Order of Carlos III. Insignia of the Order of the Fleece and the Cross of the Order of the Prussian Red Eagle. In addition, the Knight''s Cross of the Military Order of Santiago, the Knight''s Cross of the Order of Malta, the Plaque of the Grand Cross of the Very Noble and Distinguished Order of Carlos III, and the Plaque of the Grand Laureate Cross of the Royal and Military Order of San Fernando.
Exquisite work visible especially in details such as the hair, the beard, the moiré of the band and the decorations. Framed in a medallion decorated with red stones and crowned. Mounted in a period frame, in mercury-gilt bronze decorated with garlands and lacework.
No visible signature. Slight fault at the bottom. Spain, circa 1840.
