The items offered by Durán, both in auction, online auction, online sale and / or management of online shop, are offered in the state of preservation at the time deposited. During the opening hours of the auction house, we offer a customer service consisting of a group of experts who will report the state of conservation, author to whom it is attributed or any other information related to the items available for purchase or bidding.
This customer service will be provided in accordance with the principles of good faith and Durán's reasonable and well-founded judgement acquired through experience, but without assuming any responsibility for the information and opinions provided.
Only in cases where the object received by the successful bidder/buyer does not correspond to the description or has significant flaws not indicated in the description, the successful bidder/buyer will have 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the date of receipt of the shipment to return the object.
Durán will refund the amount of the sale by bank transfer to an account held by the successful bidder/buyer who is the holder of the invoice, once the item has been received in the same condition in which it was delivered. The costs of packing and transport shall be borne by the successful bidder/buyer, and the damage that may occur during transport shall be the sole responsibility of the successful bidder/buyer. Any other expenses incurred for the return shall be at risk and expense of the successful tenderer/buyer.
In cases of discrepancy of authenticity, it must be proven by a written report from a recognized authority in the field.
Moldings and picture frames and other similar objects are decorative accessories that do not form an integral part of the described object, and therefore no claims or returns shall be accepted for the state of preservation of the same.

How will I receive a refund for returned works?
The amount of the returned works (only in cases of Online Only trade) will be made by bank transfer to an account of the same holder of the invoice, provided that the work to be returned has already been received and that it is in the same condition it was in. In no case the refund will be made in cash.

Can I return a lot acquired at auction?
Lots awarded at auction cannot be returned. The purpose of the pre-auction exhibition is to allow you to examine the objects and make sure that the catalog description meets the condition of the lot. You may also request a condition report on any of the lots at auction.
