Academy of Noble Arts of San Fernando, 1863. 330 x 240 mm., landscape, hol. period with curd spine, cloth plans ed. (some rubbing) Lithographic cover, signed ''Lit. by J. Aragón'', one page of text, on both sides, in two columns, plus 80 ENGRAVED PLATES on strong womb paper, etching, with some contribution of drypoint and gouache, with sepia-tone ink. The paper on the cover has the characteristic watermark "EL ARTE EN ESPAÑA", like the paper, the watermarks of the palmette or shell, and the initials JGO (Jose García Oseñalde). Stamp stamps erased on the respect sheet, title page, text sheet and in six engravings. FIRST EDITION of this magnificent collection of engravings that were published 30 years after the death of its creator, due to the crudeness of its images, and the political instability of the time.
