"Amphora. Magna Graecia. Campania. Southern Italy. S. IV BC". Long-necked amphora made of ceramic using the red-figure technique with yellow and white details. Attributed to the painter of BM F63. Capua I, 340-330 BC Obverse decorated with a naked satyr holding a thyrsus, resting his right leg on a rock. On the reverse a young woman with two small crowns in her hands and a phiale. Decorative palmettes on the neck and under the handles. Border with wave motifs at the bottom.

Intact piece in excellent condition.
