A flemish Frans Francken coppers cabinet 17th C.

Flemish style cabinet made of carved, ebonized and gilded wood.

In front, with two doors, decorated with panels, as well as on the sides. Inside ten drawers and chapel. All of them richly decorated with biblical themes on copper painted in oil in the manner of Frans Francken II. Possibly his disciple Cornelis I de Baellieur (1607-1671). The chapel, flanked by columns, decorated with four arched mirrors and a checkered floor in ebony and bone. In the upper part, a hinged lid also decorated with copper on the inside.

The cabinet, from the 17th century, with later restorations. The table, from a later period, decorated in the same way, with grooved front legs and topped with bronze claw-like sabots. Slight faults. 65 x 38 x 78 cm the cabinet. 72 x 40 x 83 cm the table.
