Original design. Train for the ministers

"TRAIN FOR THE SERVICE OF THE EXMOS. MINISTERS".- Original design made on paper of the car for ministers and entourage and that would form part of the first royal train in Spain built in 1864 by the MZA company, during the reign of Isabel II, on the occasion of the inauguration of the line from Madrid to Zaragoza. The train was made up of five cars: a lounge or reception car, a rest car, a room for Ministers and entourage, a dining car and the kitchen; To this composition auxiliary cars were added if necessary. The external profile of the train is presented in the upper part, with the royal coat of arms, and in the lower part the interior of the train, with great detail, showing the wardrobe, the service compartment, the reception room, the lounge, bedrooms and bathroom area; the multiple divans-beds, armchairs and armchairs, made in capitoné, would be upholstered in blue damask. 1/20 scale. 51 x 96 cm.
