Artemis greek sculpture in terracotta

"Greek sculpture of Artemis in terracotta, S. IV BC". Representation of Artemis or Artemis, daughter of Zeus and Leto, and the twin sister of Apollo. She was the Hellenic goddess of hunting, wild animals, virgin land, births, virginity and maidens, who brought and alleviated women''s diseases. Often represented as a huntress carrying a bow and arrows, the deer and the cypress were sacred to her, the goddess wears a long cloth that hangs from her right shoulder and wraps around her waist on the left side, leaving a chest on the left side. uncovered and falling in elaborate folds, the left arm is flexed and rests on the hip and the right rests next to the body. The head is slightly tilted to the left, and is depicted looking forward, the hair is combed in loose locks towards the back of the head and a bow is collected there.

Very good condition.
