Roman Bacus sculpture

"Roman sculpture of Bacchus, god of wine, in marble, 100-300 AD". Bacchus is one of the names given to Dionysus, the god of wine, the grape harvest and ecstasy at the behest of Greek mythology. Bacchus was popularly called the liberating god given the ability to spiritually and mentally free a person that is attributed to wine. One of Dionisio''s distinctive features was the entourage that always accompanied him, especially for orgies. Like other gods, Bacchus had his own festivities in which he was worshipped: the so-called bacchanalia, in which wine flowed in abundance.

Good state of preservation.
