He trained in Paris in painting, sculpture and medicine. His studies in plastic arts were carried out under the direction of Julien Bougereau, Tony H. Henry and Mauricio Benlliure. He stood out for his sculptural art, which he captured in an academic style with romantic overtones. In 1885, he settled in Argentina and obtained nationality in 1910. Many of his sculptures are located in public spaces in the city such as “Al drum de Tacuarí”, in the Plaza Máximo Paz in the city of La Plata; “To Esteban Adrogué”, in the Plaza of the town of the same name; “Marcos Paz”, at the Police Headquarters of the province of Buenos Aires; “Bernardo de Irigoyen”, on Montes de Oca Avenue and “to Doctor Julián Aguirre”, at the Ramos Mejía Hospital in the Federal Capital.
