Visigothic buckle belt in bronze. 6th-7th C.

Bronze belt buckle that presents a clasp with a profuse relief decoration of a schematic and geometric plant type and aquiliform needle. Visigothic art. S. VI/VII AD The plaque is decorated with wide geometric fretwork and four small bronze spheres in the corners. In the center, a smaller embedded plaque has four small garnets and a larger one in the center that has been lost.

One of the garnets on the handle was lost and was replaced by a modern piece of a lighter colour. Otherwise in excellent condition. 10.5 x 5.5cm
