Etrurian hydria

Etruscan ceramic hydria. S. IV BC Made with the technique of red figures, in whose belly you can see a female face, flanked by two griffins. Both the lower and upper areas are delimited by a fret, the one found in the lower area of the vessel being more visible. The piece has three handles, one on each of the sides, plus another rear handle, which starts from the mouth of the piece and sits on the belly, where it ends with the relief of a face. The hydria is a ceramic typology from Ancient Greece, used to transport water. It is a vessel with three handles: two on the sides, to lift and transport the piece, and a third central one used to lift the hydria and pour its contents.

Theroluminescence certificate is attached.

It presents restorations in fracture lines, losses and wear in the polychrome.
