Libro dore di Bonaparte Ghislieri

(Facsimile) "IL LIBRO D´ORE DI BONAPARTE GHISLIERI".- Franco Cosimo Panini, 2007. The original is in the British Library in London, under the symbol Ms. Yates Thompson 29. 8º, enc. finely embossed Moroccan leather with floral motifs on a multicolored silk background; the cubs They are adorned with two hard stone settings and two central medallions in figures of the Annunciation. Along with Vol. of studies in Italian, it is presented in a suede-like case. Attached vol. of studies in Spanish. eg num. limited run. Ghislieri, in an attempt to bring together the most famous artists of the time in Italy, asked each one to do a full page: Amico Aspertini, Perugino, Lorenzo Costa, Francesco Francia, and probably Matteo da Milano. Between the frames of the miniatures, there are motifs copied from the Domus Aurea, discovered in 1480, and which quickly became very popular.
