"Post Fake (2022)". Joseba Elorza (1983, Vitoria, Spain), better known as MiraRuido, is a digital artist, illustrator and animator. In his more than 10 years as a freelance he has done work for publications such as the Wall Street Journal and animated and directed videos for companies such as the National Geographic Channel or Amazon Studios, as well as videoclips for international bands such as Green Day.
Now he is focusing his efforts on his artistic career, where through surrealism, he creates alternative worlds that seek to speak to us about our most everyday reality. With digital collage as a technique, MiraRuido decontextualizes the truth to create new situations that confront us with our most uncomfortable questions or the most disturbing banalities.
In the year 2021 he discovered NFTs and with it a new way of reaching out with his art to the great public. Since then, and after a year of great success, all his pieces have been sold to collectors, with a notable increase in demand and generating a total value of more than €250,000. 960 x 1200 pixels
