Interesting automatic doll from the French house Tête Jumeau. Made of wood and polychrome porcelain. The legs, fixed, and made of wood. The arms and face, biscuit. With crystal blue eyes, and painted lips, eyelashes and eyebrows. In one hand she carries a bone mirror and in the other a powder sponge. Dressed in the typical way of the 19th century. When the musical mechanism is wound up and activated, the doll powders itself and looks at itself in the mirror, moving both arms and its head. Red nape markings, "Tête Jumeau B., SGDG" and numbered.
