Francisco de Goya and Lucientes. immaculate

"Immaculate Conception". "Immaculate Conception". Oil on copper. 17x13cm. (oval). Signed G--A, on the back in the upper center.

Unpublished work by Francisco de Goya, treated as a delicate miniature, made in the last moments of his second period in Zaragoza or in the first moments in Madrid, so it can be dated between 1774-78. It is noteworthy that on the cloak there is a touch in the form of the letter Z that is common in many of the works of this period.
