Pair of Spanish silver candlesticks. c.1813

Elegant pair of Spanish silver Empire candlesticks. Pps. S. XIX. Hallmarks of Córdoba, marks of the silversmith Francisco Muñoz and the goldsmith Diego de la Vega y Torre. Circa 1813. They have a columned foot, grooved in the lower half, a simply stepped base, outlined by a fine guilloché fretwork and another of little pearls, and a foot finish with the same decoration.
