Roman marble face

Face representing a male portrait made in marble. Rome. 3rd century AD Good state of conservation. No restorations. It has a break at mid-height of the neck. The nose and right ear have been lowered, due to a break, later to insert a restoration made in marble, possibly from the 18th or 19th century.

Provenance: private collection of R. William Bruke, Paris, France. Acquired at the Mythes et Légendes Gallery, Paris, 1984. The gallery''''s certificate is preserved.
