German gilt silver tankard Breslau 16th C

Tankard made of punched gilt German silver. With locality marks from Wroclaw (W) - 16th - 17th century, unknown goldsmith, and burilado.

Manual embossing and chiseling work, with plant, insect and rope decoration. Deposit engraved with female figures in different attitudes. Renaissance style handle with figurehead.

Inside, also gilded, with a coat of arms and initials on the back of the lid.

At the base, engraved with a dedication as a gift from 1879.
