Ushebti. New Kingdom

Ushebti made in white faience. Egypt. New Empire. 1550-1070 BC Represented as a laborer, since he wields two hoes to work in the fields of Osiris in the Afterlife. He is wearing a long tripartite wig that falls on his shoulders. From his mummiform shroud that covers his entire body, only his hands stand out, crossed on his chest, holding the aforementioned agricultural tools. On the body there is a vertical record of hieroglyphic writing. On the back there are some sacks to store seeds.

Material adhesions on the surface. Small flaw at the tip of the nose. Excellent state of conservation. 12,70 cm. altura
