Greco-roman black terracotta piece

"Greco-Roman black terracotta artifacts, 400-300 BC". Greco-Italic figurative ceramics from the 4th century BC reached a great artistic development, giving it a new vitality. Among these regional workshops, those in the Apulia region stood out above all. This Apulian bowl has a black enamel, a wide and shallow bottom, a low foot and a thickened lip decorated in reddish and orange tones.

Very good condition.

Provenance: old Israeli collection, acquired in 2006. 15cm. diameter
