Meissen ormolu mounted Elephant clock. 18-19th

Large Louis XV garrison made of glazed, glazed and gilt porcelain, from the German Meissen manufacture. Mounted on mercury-gilt bronze.

The clock, made up of a large white elephant mounted on a vegetable-like bronze base. On this, rests the clock, which ends in a Persian character. Dial made of white porcelain with Roman and Arabic numerals enameled in blue and black. Signed JULIEN LEROY A PARIS. Paris-type machinery with incised numbering. Key and pendulum. The chandeliers, with seven lights. Each one with a figure of a popular character of oriental taste.
